NBA Playoffs: Top SevenThree-Point Shooters
This is a slide show of the top seven three-point shooters in the NBA Playoffs this year.
These players clearly have a phenomenal gift that enables them to shoot the ball from virtually anywhere on the floor and stroke it right into the hoop, as if it was routine.
Please comment below with your thoughts on the list and if you believe it should be tweaked a bit!
7. Peja Stojakovic
It does not matter how old Peja gets, he is still one of the best shooters in the game today. He is one of my all-time favorite players and still deserves to get the recognition of being an amazing three-point shooter. Peja is the man!
6. Jason Terry
The soon to be sixth man of the year is another player with a spectacular shooting stroke. Terry is known for his extreme consistency from beyond the three-point line. He dropped 167 three pointers on the season and made it look very easy while doing so.
5. Kyle Korver
The white man can flat out shoot. Korver is definitely one of the top five best three-point shooters in the NBA, making 103 three pointers on the year.
If I had to choose a player to win me a game off of a three-point shot, Korver would certainly be one of the top players on my mind.
4. Roger Mason
What can't this guy do? Mason was extremely clutch on the season, making many critical three pointers in numerous games, including a few three-point buzzer beaters to win games.
Mason made 166 three pointers on the season and shot a magnificent 42.1 percent from beyond the three-point line.
This dude can really shoot the ball from practically anywhere on the court.
3. Rashard Lewis
Lewis led the league this season with 220 three pointers made, while shooting just under 40 percent from the three-point line. He has an outstanding stroke and is very consistent at hitting his shot.
Lewis lands himself as a definite top three best three-point shooter in the NBA today.
2. Ben Gordon
My, oh my...have you ever seen this guy shoot the ball before?
It seems like Gordon swishes each and every one of the shots he takes. Gordon made 173 three pointers on the season and shot a stellar 41 percent from the three-point arc.
During Game Two of the playoffs against the Celtics, Gordon hit a couple of clutch threes to give the Bulls an edge in the game.
Gordon has one of the sweetest strokes in the game today and can arguably be the number one on this list.
1. Ray Allen
You know it....I know it. Ray Allen has the sickest three-point shot in the entire NBA.
He has been doing it for years and this season was no different. Allen made 199 three pointers and shot 41 percent from the range. He ended Game Two of the playoffs against the Bulls with a buzzer beater three pointer that looked like it never even touched the net.
Allen has the smoothest and sweetest three-point stroke, and there is absolutely no argument with that.
