The Mets' past week was rather uneven. After playing very well in the first game of their road series against the Phillies, their starting pitching was poor in the other two games. Then, the Mets continued their travels to Minnesota to play the Twins. They played very well against the lowly Twins and could have swept the series if not for the last game getting postponed due to weather.
John Buck has continued his amazing first half with six home runs and 19 RBI in his first 11 games. Lucas Duda has three home runs of his own and Daniel Murphy is red hot as well, boasting a .381 average.
Down in the farm system, the Mets' top prospects have been progressing along as well. Here is an updated report on their progress.
