Cristiano Ronaldo is kind of a big deal. You may have heard of him.

The Real Madrid superstar has a career laden with impressive goals and tricks. So many, in fact, that it's only natural for the Internet to document his greatest moments in GIF format. Who needs to sit through YouTube adverts when you can watch the same clip over and over again, right?

Mr. Ronaldo has just reached 50 goals for the 2012-13 season (via the Daily Mail). To celebrate his achievement, let's take a look at the former Manchester United man's best goals and tricks.

First up, something a little old school. Don't stare at the Portuguese forward's legs too long, as prolonged exposure could induce dizziness and fainting:

Those dazzling feet can do more than just dance. David James found this out the hard way during the 2007-08 season, when Ronaldo decided to show the world exactly how spectacular his patented method of taking free kicks is:

Ronaldo played a massive part in Manchester United's Champions League success throughout his time at Old Trafford. His goal against Porto summed up a player whose confidence is nearly on par with his skill:

There was, of course, a time where Wes Brown was deemed quality enough to play on the same team as Ronaldo. The orange-tinted defender played a wonderful one-two with Paul Scholes and crossed the ball for Ronaldo to net his only Champions League final goal to date:

Somewhere, hotter came calling. Madrid deployed a ridiculous sum to lure the internationally recognised icon towards the Bernabeu. Ronaldo hasn't looked back and continues to flaunt an array of skills to this day:

Goals are never far away when the 28-year-old is on the pitch. Ronaldo has added a level of consistency to his Real Madrid game that will have Manchester United fans itching for his return. His recent substitute appearance against Levante underlined the notion that Ronaldo only needs to be on the pitch a few minutes to make an impact:

The slick-haired assassin is also partial to a start or two. When he does enter the field from the off, expect ridiculous results. If Ronaldo is within shooting distance of goal, you can bet the temptation to unleash a rocket is running through his mind:

In fear of crashing your computer with an overload of GIFs, I now turn to you. The above selection is a snippet of what Ronaldo is all about. His career is rife with memorable goals, neat touches and tricks that make football fans watch on in awe.
