PITTSBURGH — Three relievers all had a hand in blowing a late lead in an ugly, ugly loss. The Reds led this one 4-0 after two innings, 5-0 after six innings and 6-4 after 7 1/2 innings. “That was the roughest one in a long time,” Reds manager Dusty Baker said. “We left those runners out there in the eighth. That would have given us a bigger cushion no matter who we brought in.”
