The Rangers aren't going to take any chances with Yu Darvish next week at Chicago, where temperatures the weather is supposed to be terrible and the Rangers pitchers will have to bat in a National League park. Those were contributing factors, along with a lingering finger issue, in the decision to push Darvish's next start to Friday. The right-hander threw 108 pitches over six innings Friday night at Seattle, and the finger held up without any issues. Two more days, though, are only going to make it better, and he won't run the risk of neck stiffness reappearing or some sort of other injury from being in the cold air.
