Buffalo Bulls Should Be Ready To Roll

Are the Bills still the best buy in Buffalo for Football? Turner Gill and the University at Buffalo Bulls think otherwise.
The defending MAC champs are finished with spring practice and should be ready to roll come fall. The Bulls will be looking to James Starks, Naaman Roosevelt, and Davonte Shannon among others to once again contend for the MAC Championship.
School AD Warde Manuel showed the Bulls' faithful his commitment in the football team by giving Turner Gill an extention through 2013 to help sway him away from schools like Auburn and Syracuse. No matter what happens with Gill in future, Manuel hit the jackpot securing Turner Gill in 2006 as the Bulls head coach.
The former Heisman finalist and 12th winning quarterback in division 1-A history, Turner Gill is not one for the spotlight and the ideal coach at UB.
Starks, Roosevelt, and Shannon will take the field for Gill's fourth season September 5 in El Paso, Texas taking on UTEP Miners. Then take the field at UB Stadium September 12th for their home opener against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
