The draw for the Champions League semifinals was made on Friday, with Bayern Munich paired with Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund set to face Real Madrid.
Intriguingly, the prospect of an all-Spanish or all-German final in May still looms large.
Bayern have already sewn up the Bundesliga title and are arguably the form team in Europe this season. Many have them favorites to go one better than their runners-up finish a year ago in the Champions League.
Barcelona have not hit the highs we know they're capable of, but will come armed with the best player in the world and experience to burn.
The other semifinal will see Dortmund and Madrid reunited after playing twice during the group stage. Dortmund came out on top, winning in Germany and drawing 2-2 at the Bernabeu.
