In a game with significant postseason ramifications, the Los Angeles Lakers traveled to play the Portland Trail Blazers. Although Portland has been eliminated from playoff contention, L.A. holds a .5-game lead over the Utah Jazz and are on the losing end of the tiebreak.
L.A. entered this game at 41-37 overall and 15-25 on the road. They lost, 116-106, at Portland on Oct. 31, but they've won the following two games against the Trail Blazers.
Portland, meanwhile, is 33-44 overall and 22-16 at home. The Trail Blazers lost eight consecutive games entering this one.
The question is, could the Lakers overcome the struggling Trail Blazers? Or did they suffer another significant blow to their postseason dreams?
