Predicting MLB's 40-Home Run Hitters in 2013

Gabe Zaldivar@gabezalPop Culture Lead WriterApril 10, 2013

We all dig the long ball, and there will be plenty with these guys around for the 2013 MLB season.

There is hardly a more stirring play in baseball than the home run, and these guys have already supplied their fair share of jack jobs.

Still, there is reason to believe 40 home runs is well within reach for the likes of Miguel Cabrera, Jose Bautista, Justin Upton and Giancarlo Stanton.

The list features a couple of players who have already proven they can round the bases 40 or more times a season and a couple of others who are still trying to break that marvelous plateau.

Join MLB Lead Writer Zachary Rymer and MLB Contributor Gabe Zaldivar as they break down the players who are destined to be the biggest and most prolific sluggers of 2013.

Not that we should have the last word on anything, though. Feel free to tear apart our candidates or offer up some of your own in the comments section below.
