NFL Draft 2013: Mike Edwards Hopes to Be the Next Deion Sanders

BR StudiosFeatured ColumnistApril 11, 2013

When you play for the University of Hawaii, you'd better take advantage of every time you hit the field. Cornerback Mike Edwards did just that at his pro day.

He clearly was the best cornerback on the field, which also included players from San Diego State.

Edwards was clocked at 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash and showed a great nose for the ball and solid quickness.

For a guy who idolizes Deion Sanders, Edwards is pretty understated...at least on camera. On the field, he's not afraid to get in the heads of his opponents.

Let us know in the comments below if you think the Hawaii cornerback will shine in the NFL.

Where will Mike Edwards go in the 2013 NFL draft?
