He looks like an NFL safety. At 6'3" and 205 pounds, T.J. McDonald is considered one of the best safeties in the 2013 NFL draft

For those who don't know, T.J. stands for Tim, Jr. You see, Tim, Sr. also played for the USC Trojans and had a stellar 13-year NFL career with the Cardinals and 49ers. Tim is also a former Super Bowl champ and six-time All-Pro safety.

To say there's big shoes to fill is an understatement. Check out our video above as T.J. talks about his dad and what type of player he hopes to be in the NFL.

Let us know in the comments below if you think the former USC safety will shine in the NFL.

If T.J. gets drafted by the Jets, his dad will be coaching him as Tim was recently hired as their defensive backs coach.

Where will T.J. McDonald go in the 2013 NFL draft?
