Several sources are reporting this morning that Jeff Hardy has told the WWE that he will not be signing a new contract once his current one expires in early June.

He has cited "Burn-out, wanting to spend time with Beth, and needing to make myself right" as reasons why he is choosing not to re-sign. However, word is that he will probably only be out until around the Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble.

Other sources have alleged that he is back on crystal methamphetamine, and this time off might be for rehabilitation purposes as well.

He will be returning to the WWE. He just plans to take some time off à la Shawn Michaels, except that he won't be bound by a new contract.
