Beavers Work to Get New Defensive Tackles Up to Speed

CORVALLIS – Oregon State offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf noticed something he didn't like in Monday's practice and shouted, "This is not Day One!'' No, it was Day Five of spring drills, but you could forgive Siale Hautau and Edwin Delva, the Beavers' new defensive tackles, if it felt a lot like Day One. "I hate to say it, but it's still a work in progress,'' defensive line coach Joe Seumalo said after the practice in which Delva and Hautau flashed their considerable athletic skills but mainly tried to keep up with the new verbiage and drills as they graduate from junior college to Division I football.
