Jordan Poyer: Video Highlights for Former Oregon State CB

0 of 6

Jordan Poyer just might be the grittiest, peskiest, most in-your-face cornerback in the 2013 NFL draft class.

At 6'0'' and 190 pounds, he has adequate size to be a team's No. 1 cornerback, and he hauled in 13 interceptions over the last three seasons for the Oregon State Beavers.

Here are the top plays from Jordan Poyer's college career.

Pick Six vs. USC in 2010

1 of 6

As a sophomore, Poyer played a major role in Oregon State's upset win over USC.

On this particular play, he bolted in front of a Matt Barkley out-breaking route and made an easy interception.

With plenty of momentum, Poyer sprinted down the sideline and made one cut to the inside before finding the end zone.

The Beavers blew out the Trojans 36-7.

Pass Breakup vs. Oregon in 2010

2 of 6

This was a simple pass breakup by Poyer in the Civil War in 2010, but it exemplified the type of player he is.

He got to LaMichael James precisely when the ball arrived and lowered the boom, which resulted in an incompletion.

After the relatively big hit, Poyer wasn't afraid to jaw a little bit and actually shoved James before he headed back to the huddle.

He has a little Cortland Finnegan to his game.

Punt Return Touchdown vs. UCLA in 2011

3 of 6

In 2011 against UCLA, Poyer took a punt 85 yards to the house and demonstrated his deceptive straight-line speed.

He grabbed the punt and followed his blockers to the left side of the field.

Poyer turned upfield at the 17-yard line and turned on the jets.

Although he ran a 4.54 40-yard dash at the combine, which isn't a blazing time by today's standards, Poyer appeared much faster on this return touchdown.

(Got to love the lightning bolts.)

Diving Pass Breakup and Interception vs. Arizona State in 2011

4 of 6

On two plays against Arizona State in 2011, Poyer exhibited his springy athleticism and tremendous ball skills.

Late in the first quarterback, the Sun Devils' big-armed quarterback Brock Osweiler fired a pass down the middle of the field into the end zone.

Trailing the play slightly, Poyer timed his jump perfectly and fully extended his left hand to knock the ball away at the last moment.

On the second play, he undercut an out-breaking route and lunged to make an incredible interception.

Pick Six vs. Brigham Young in 2011

5 of 6

During his collegiate career, Poyer proved he makes the most of late throws, especially ones across the field to the sideline.

On this play against BYU in 2011, Poyer jumped in front of a hitch route and intercepted the pass then scampered 51 yards for the score.

He also defended three passes in that game.

Interception and Return vs. Washington State in 2012

6 of 6

Poyer made nearly the exact same play against Washington State in 2012 as he did against BYU in 2011.

On a relatively late throw toward the sideline, he aggressively undercut the route and intercepted the football.

Although Poyer didn't score against the Cougars, he showed off his acceleration down the field before tripping near the end zone.

Poyer had two other interceptions in that game against Washington State and finished the 2012 season with a total of seven picks.
