Signal Iduna Park—Germany

Borussia Dortmund 3-2 Malaga (aggregate 3-2)

An advert for football, a reminder of why we watch the game.

Dortmund came back to score two stoppage-time goals and progress to the semifinals as Malaga hang their heads in disbelief.

Joaquin opened the scoring in the first half after Julio Baptista won the aerial duel, but Robert Lewandowski leveled matters before the break after a sumptuous Marco Reus flick.

The second half was a staring contest in which neither side blinked, until Eliseu tapped home an offside goal to make it 2-1 to Malaga in the 82nd minute.

With BVB looking dead in the water, Reus tapped home a 91st-minute equaliser to garner hope, then Felipe Santana sent the home fans into delirium with another offside finish.
