CHICAGO — When Dayan Viciedo’s screaming line drive crashed into the left-field seats at U.S. Cellular Field in the 10th inning Sunday, it became the White Sox’s 44th win via walk-off home run since the park opened in 1991. And it feels like 43 of them have come against the Seattle Mariners. To be fair, the Mariners have lost by walk-off homers three times at U.S. Cellular. But this was the ninth time the White Sox have beaten them with a walk-off hit. Each time gets a little tougher for the Mariners to swallow. Sunday’s 4-3 extra-inning loss cost the Seattle a chance at a series win and added to their misery against the White Sox.
