ARLINGTON, Texas - Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols, who says his plantar fasciitis has never been as painful this early in the season, was used as a DH Saturday for the first time this season against the Texas Rangers. Pujols, who had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee during the winter, believes the surgery may have created stress on his left foot.
