Former Rutgers athletic director Tim Pernetti didn't have to look far to find a replacement when Greg Schiano abruptly left as football coach on Jan. 27, 2012. He turned to long-time assistant and offensive line coach Kyle Flood, despite Flood's absence of head coaching experience. For that, Flood said today, he will "always be grateful to him for that."
