This is my first instalment of my new column and the first time I have done something like this.

With Lance Moore having his breakout season last year, and Marques Colston having his the year before that, one believes that it is time for Devery Henderson to break out for over a 1,000 yards this year.

Henderson, since becoming a Saint, has averaged over 21.6 yards per catch. He has always been great for the big play. At any time he catches a pass he could go 80 yards for a touchdown.

It doesn't hurt to have developed a chemistry with a quarterback like Drew Brees ether. Drew has been able to trust Henderson when he feels the need to throw it deep into the field.

With the chance of Lance Moore still being picked up by another team, Henderson could move into that No. 2 slot. But even if Moore stays with the Saints, fans might see the black and gold resemble something like the Arizona Cardinals, with three receivers catching for over 1,000 yards.

It's time for the former LSU star to have his breakout year. Saints fans, be ready for one hell of season from the black and gold.
