2013 NFL Draft: Marquise Goodwin Wants to Be Known as NFL Player, Not Olympian

B/R StudiosFeatured ColumnistApril 8, 2013

When you look at Marquise Goodwin's Wikipedia page, the first thing that is mentioned is that he's an American long jumper on the 2012 Olympic team.

That was then. This is now.

Goodwin wants everyone to know that he's a wide receiver who's destined for greatness in the NFL. The former Texas WR electrified the NFL world at the NFL Scouting Combine by running the fastest 40 with a 4.27. He also tied for 2nd in the broad jump among wide receivers with 132.0 inches.

There's no doubt secondaries will fear and respect Goodwin in 2013.

Check out the video above as the wide receiver tells us he can't wait to prove critics wrong. Let us know in the comments below if you think Marquise Goodwin will shine in the NFL.

Where will Goodwin go in the 2013 NFL draft?
