2013 NFL Draft: EJ Manuel Hopes to Be the Next Ben Roethlisberger

BR StudiosFeatured ColumnistApril 5, 2013

The more you talk to EJ Manuel, the more you like him. He's a bright guy, and according to him, his future can be as bright as Ben Roethlisberger's (see video above).

If Manuel has a career anywhere near Big Ben's, it'll be a huge success. Both quarterbacks check in at 6'5" and 240 pounds. They both know how to extend a play with their legs.

Like Roethlisberger, Manuel knows how to win. He played behind Christian Ponder his first two years at Florida State, but due to injuries, Manuel stepped in and led the Seminoles to two bowl wins. After Ponder was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings, Manuel proceeded to win to more bowl games, tallying four bowl wins in his collegiate career.

Not too shabby.

Where will this EJ Manuel go in the 2013 NFL draft
