When it comes to slot receivers, Ryan Swope is one of the better ones available in the 2013 NFL draft

He has some big shoes to fill as he says he wants to be the next Wes Welker. And he just may be.

If you look at his collegiate career, he had some lofty quarterbacks throwing to him. Up until his junior year, it was Ryan Tannehill who connected with the Texas A&M wide receiver.

With Tannehill in the NFL, Johnny Manziel stepped in and Swope didn't miss a beat.

Swope says he studies Wes Welker and the Packers' Jordy Nelson. He loves the way both receivers play and hopes he can bring that kind of game to the NFL.

At 6'0" and 205 pounds, he has about two inches and 20 pounds on Welker. Swope is stockier than Welker and should be a durable slot receiver in the NFL.

Where will the former A&M receiver go in the 2013 NFL draft? Let us know in the comments below if Ryan Swope will shine in the NFL.
