Bats are a Swinging
The George Mason baseball are off to their best start in school history, and in certain polls have reached the top 25 in the nation.

Currently the Patriots (30-7, 11-4 CAA) are ranked No. 27 in the ESPN/USA Today Top 25 Coaches poll, receiving 50 votes this week. They are also ranked No. 27 in the Collegiate Baseball Division 1 Poll.

The Patriots took two of three from the VCU Rams at the Diamond in Richmond, Va. this past weekend. Mason hosts the George Washington Colonials tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Spuhler Field in Fairfax. They travel to College Park on Wed. to face the Maryland Terrapins and return home for a three-game series against the Hofstra Pride.

The Pride and the Patriots begin the series on Friday, April 24 at 3 p.m. Saturday's game starts at two, with Sunday's series finale beginning at 1 p.m.
