Tennis, Breaking News

I never though I would be writing an article about tennis, until something as crazy as me writing this article happened.

Russian tennis player Mikhail Youzhny hit a backhand into the net during his third-round match against Spain's Nicolas Almagro at the Miami Masters.

No big deal, right?

Wrong.

Youzhny got so frustrated that he angrily whacked himself in the head three times with his tennis racket strings.

Moments later, Youzhny had to stop the match to receive attention for a bleeding gash on his forehead. Even Youzhny's opponent approached the net during Youzhny's tantrum and laughed briefly about the situation.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the incident had received more than 567,000 views on YouTube.

Whether it was the blow to head or a simple change in strategy, Youzhny eventually rallied to win the match by a 7-6, 3-6, 7-6 score.

If nothing else, Youzhny is now a YouTube celebrity.
