There is only one way the Rangers can explain trading three-time 40-goal scorer Marian Gaborik to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday afternoon, and they did their best to do it hours later at the Garden, throttling the first-place Pittsburgh Penguins, 6-1, while being led by newcomers Ryane Clowe, Derick Brassard and John Moore, who all scored and combined for four goals and eight points in their Rangers debuts.
