Georgia defensive lineman Abry Jones was plagued by injuries throughout his collegiate career. In his healthiest season in 2011, Jones led Bulldogs defensive linemen with 48 tackles and was voted one of the team's most improved players. He played all over the line and showed great versatility.
The 2012 season was a different story, as Jones' campaign was cut short by an ankle injury followed by surgery in October.
The 6'3", 313-pound Jones grew up with a military family. Both his parents were extremely athletic and pushed Abry in whatever he did. Now he hopes he can be pushed to stay healthy and enjoy a strong NFL career.
We caught up with Jones at Athletes' Performance in Gulf Breeze, Fla., where he was training and getting ready for the NFL.
