The NBA did not punish the Miami Heat for sitting All-Stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Sunday’s 88-86 victory at the San Antonio Spurs. Miami’s decision to give James and Wade the night off sparked a discussion in social networks about why the NBA fined the Spurs $250,000 for not playing forward Tim Duncan, guards Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili and guard-forward Danny Green at Miami on Nov. 29.
