WWE Spoilers for Superstars, Main Event, Saturday Morning Slam and SmackDown

The following are spoilers for WWE Superstars, WWE Saturday Morning Slam, WWE Main Event and WWE SmackDown. If you do not want to know what happened, then you should turn back right now. If not, then read on.

Because WrestleMania 29 is Sunday, WWE will feature abbreviated programming on these shows in order to focus on the pay-per-view preparation. The matches were taped prior to the Raw broadcast Monday night at Verizon Center in Washington, DC:

WWE Superstars

The Great Khali defeated JTG.

Nothing much to report here because it was basically a squash match. A couple of chops to the head, and Khali was the winner. Afterward, Khali and his entourage of Natalya and Hornswoggle danced for the crowd.

WWE Saturday Morning Slam

Kofi Kingston defeated Justin Gabriel in a battle of babyfaces.

This was an extremely kid-friendly match. It mostly was a lot of acrobatic and high-flying moves, with no punches and only a couple of chops thrown. In the end, Kingston defeated Gabriel with an SOS.

In the name of sportsmanship, Kingston and Gabriel shook hands after the match and stood in the middle of the ring with their hands raised.

Dolph Ziggler provided color commentary on this match.

WWE Main Event

The Miz defeated Prime Time Players in a 2-on-1 match.

Other than to give Miz a little push into WrestleMania 29, this was a long and very pointless match. After knocking Titus O’Neil out of the ring, Miz made Darren Young submit with the figure-four.

Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett was at ringside for the match. He and Miz shared a few hard stares and a few words, but they did not make contact with each other. Barrett will defend the IC title against Miz in the WrestleMania 29 pre-show.

WWE SmackDown

Team Rhodes Scholars and the Bella Twins did a spoof of Tons of Funk and the Funkadactyls.

Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow came out dressed as Tensai and Brodus Clay, respectively, and goofed on them. The real Tons of Funk and Funkadactyls eventually came out, and after a brief brawl in the ring, Rhodes Scholars and the Bellas retreated.

Jack Swagger defeated Kofi Kingston.

Kingston was one of the hardest working wrestlers on the card Monday night, as he was booked for two programs. This match, however, did not take all that long, and Swagger won with his Patriot Lock.

Ryback defeated Epico and Primo in a two-on-one match.

This handicap match made more sense than the one with Miz and the Prime Time Players because Ryback is more suited for this type of contest. It did not take long, as Ryback got both men up for his Shell Shocked finisher.

Raw Dark Match

John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback defeated The Shield by disqualification.

The dust (or was it ashes?) had barely settled on the Raw show when the six-man match took place. It was not a very long match, either, as Seth Rollins got The Shield disqualified when he began using a chair on Cena.

But the biggest pop for the match came when Cena, Sheamus and Ryback all hit their finishers on The Shield members. Afterward, the three babyfaces went around ringside shaking hands and exchanging high-fives with the fans.
