WWE announced an eight-person tag match last Wednesday for WrestleMania featuring Brodus Clay, Tensai and the Funkadactyls taking on Team Rhodes Scholars and the Bella Twins.

This is more-or-less a “get everyone on the card” match, but the WWE is still leaving some important Superstars off of the card. The ones that will be mentioned aren’t guys like Yoshi Tatsu and the Usos, but prominent stars that are household names.

Antonio Cesaro

This one should be an obvious one for WWE, but it looks like they forgot. Cesaro is the United States champion, but is currently without a feud.

Cesaro will probably put his title on the line in an unadvertised match against someone who won a pre-show battle royal.

Cesaro is a very talented Superstar and has been United States champion since SummerSlam. He’s faced The Miz and R-Truth on multiple occasions, but he’s also faced Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel in glorified squash matches.

Cesaro should be on the card defending the United States title.

Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston was going strong in the latter half of 2012. He was Intercontinental champion and feuding with Wade Barrett. He lost the title to Barrett on the Dec. 31 episode of Raw.

Kingston was unable to recapture the title on the following SmackDown and has been used as a jobber to Dolph Ziggler and Mark Henry.

This is why the Money in the Bank should be a match at WrestleMania and not its own event. It will put six or eight Superstars on the card and provide the fans with some exciting action.

He could even be the one to put Fandango over instead of Chris Jericho.

Christian

Christian has been out of action since before Survivor Series with an ankle injury. He made an appearance at the Slammy Awards, but hasn’t been seen since.

According to WrestleZone, he’s been medically cleared for action, but WWE could wait until after WrestleMania to re-introduce him.

WrestleMania will feel incomplete without an appearance from Captain Charisma. A cameo or interview to update fans about his injury won't take much time. Maybe he can face Cesaro for the United States title.

WrestleMania has a stacked card from the undercard to the main event. However, the absence of the United States champion is a shock. It wouldn't be hard to put him in a quick feud with Kingston, Christian or even R-Truth to get them on the card.
