Yanks Set All-Time Payroll Record with $230.4M

Despite all the talk of reducing payroll and getting under the luxury tax threshold in the coming years, the Yankees opened the 2013 season with a record $230.4 million payroll according to the AP. The free-spending Dodgers checked in at $214.8 million while the Astros are dead last at $27.3 million.
