President Barack Obama Treats Fans to Brick Fest, Goes 2-of-22 at White House

Barack Obama, 44th president of the United States and leader of the free world, just returned from a humbling jaunt to Brick City.

We all have off days, and even the president can make a basketball game at the White House deteriorate into an awkward affair for all parties present.

There is something rather refreshing about seeing President Obama clank most of his shots, and even air-ball one of them.

Business Insider reports the moment the president did his best to impersonate Dwight Howard came at the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll on Monday, where he went 2-of-22 from the field.

A time for great celebration turned into a mason's convention, as Obama hoisted brick after brick after brick. It got so ugly that a child had to help the President out.

Brett LoGiurato of Business Insider writes:

At one point, POTUS handed a ball to a boy and asked for help. The boy made the layup. "He couldn't make one. I had to help him out," said Kahron Campbell, 10, of Landover, MD.

Hey, it could be worse. The Detroit Pistons' Andre Drummond managed to air-ball two free throws in his game on Sunday.

Considering this massive melee of horrible shots featured only one air ball, we can turn a blind eye to the awfulness.

We all know that Obama has serious game and is quite the competitor at White House pickup games. For one unfortunate day in April, though, he was about as successful as infamous draft bust Kwame Brown.
