NEW YORK — The Red Sox lineup features three players making the first Opening Day starts of their careers, with left fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. joining Will Middlebrooks and Jose Iglesias in the lineup against Yankees left-hander C.C. Sabathia. Perhaps the most interesting call in the lineup took place at catcher, where Jarrod Saltalamacchia (.214 average, .250 OBP, .286 slugging against Sabathia) will start over David Ross (.308, .375, .769 with two homers off of Sabathia).
