With their streak no more, the Miami Heat turned their full attention back to the 2013 NBA Playoffs, and a potential finals matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.

Owners of the two best records in the league and sitting on top of their respective conferences, both the Spurs and the Heat knew the importance of winning this one, but they also knew that the most important matchup to win was the one that could come later on in the year.

As a result, Erik Spoelstra opted not to play stars LeBron James, guard Dwyane Wade and guard Mario Chalmers—preferring to rest them for the finals road ahead.

Let's take a look at how a depleted Heat side fared against one of the most complete and consistent teams in the country, the San Antonio Spurs.
