The Los Angeles Clippers were eyeing a season sweep of the Rockets as they traveled to Houston Saturday evening.
Los Angeles was looking to win 50 games for the first time in team history. A win on Saturday and a loss by the Golden State Warriors would clinch the Pacific Division for the Clippers. That would also be the first division title ever for the franchise.
The Rockets aren't in such a pretty position. They've lost two in a row but still manage to hold a 2.5-game lead over the Utah Jazz for the seventh spot in the Western Conference. Houston is situated only 1.5 games back of the Golden State Warriors, so it could conceivably move up.
Let's take a look at Saturday night's action and see who emerged victorious from this West matchup.
