The Dallas Mavericks ended the fourth quarter on a 15-1 run to beat the Chicago Bulls, 100-98.

Dirk Nowitzki had the best game of his 2012-13 campaign, with 35 points on 82.3 percent shooting from the field and 83.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

He was unstoppable in the fourth, where he dropped 15 of his 35 points.

It's somewhat amazing that the Bulls didn't begin to double Dirk in the fourth or at least make an attempt to get the ball out of his hands.

The Bulls were led by Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng and Nate Robinson who all accounted for 25 points each.

The fact that three players scored 75 of the Bulls' 98 points is impressive, yet concerning for the Bulls—who just couldn't find consistent production across the board.

While both teams needed this win as they push for playoff seeding, the Mavericks needed this a bit more as they are pushing to bypass the Utah Jazz and L.A. Lakers for the eight seed in the West.

Brandon Wright missed just one shot, going 7-of-8 from the field and getting his first double double of the season with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Nate Robinson's 25 points on 7-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc was overshadowed by his missed game winner.

Up next for the Bulls is a home matchup with the lowly Detroit Pistons. The Mavericks have a bit of a tougher matchup next, with a pivotal meeting with the Lakers coming on Tuesday evening.
