Nebraska Makes Big Jump in College Baseball's Top 25

  Arkansas lost the first two games; the third was cancelled due to rain.  Arkansas still has not won a SEC weekend series.  Vanderbilt is 2-1 in SEC series and is all along in fourth place of the Eastern Division. 

LSU @ Florida:  The Tigers were able to prevent the sweep by taking game three, but Florida remained perfect in SEC series, and are now all alone in first place in the SEC Eastern Division and overall.  The Tigers are 1-2 in SEC series, and are all alone in fourth place of the Western Division.

 

Georgia @ Mississippi State:  Georgia joins Florida as the only two teams to have won every SEC series this season.  Georgia lost Friday, but rebounded Saturday and Sunday to win the series and place them in a four-way tie for second in the Eastern Division.  Mississippi State is still searching for their first SEC series win.  State coach Ron Polk announced his retirement at the end of the season.

 

Kentucky @ South Carolina:  The Gamecocks bounced back after losing Friday night’s game, to win the series, their second straight.  The Wildcats have cooled off after their hot start, losing their last two weekend series and four of their last seven games.
