As usual, the Chicago Cubs have come out of the gate storming in the wrong direction. Sure they had a great ninth vs. the Brewers on Monday, but they completely blew it in the stands.
The Cubs created signs for fans to hold during the game to support new Japanese import Kosuke Fukudome. On one side, in English, the sign said, "It's going to happen!"
On the other side, the Cubs had written, in Japanese, "It's an Accident!"
One would think that the Cubs organization would not screw up something so important to a new player and their fans. As I just saw on TV, all of the fans holding those premade signs, now look like idiots.
Way to go Chicago, way to go.

Did the fans misspell his name or did you? It's spelled Fukudome, just wondering...

Mitchell, good catch. Way to bust the Cubs on a really embarrassing effort. That was terrible.
