Ohio State beats Arizona, 73-70.
Arizona led for the majority of the first half, but an Ohio State run early in the second half was too much for the Wildcats to overcome.
Seniors stepped up for Arizona down the stretch. Solomon Hill and Mark Lyons both played well, but defensively, the Wildcats could not stop the Buckeyes.
DeShaun Thomas kept the Buckeyes in the game in the first half. He scored 16 points in the first 20 minutes and just four in the second half.
That was, in part, due to LaQuinton Ross' incredible second half. Aside from a go-ahead 25-foot three pointer, Ross scored 14 points down the stretch for Ohio State.
His scoring, plus Aaron Craft's leadership, gave Ohio State the win. They'll play the winner of La Salle and Wichita State on Mar. 30.
