The WWE is back with yet another edition of Main Event! We had champions in action, divas at each other's throats and a few "Yes!" worthy moments.

So how did it all transpire?

The evening was highlighted by United States champion Antonio Cesaro taking on WWE Tag Team Champion Kane in a non-title bout. We also saw the Bella Twins grace our television during a tag team match against the Funkadactyls.

For those in need of their weekly fix, we even saw AJ Lee and heard some yodeling—it was an eventful evening.

Kane Defeated Antonio Cesaro via Pinfall

As the reputation of these two men might suggest, Antonio Cesaro and Kane were involved in a slugfest. From the time Cesaro serenaded the crowd with his yodeling to the first sign of blasting flames, we knew we were in store for something big.

Cesaro and Kane didn't let us down.

The United States Champion was hesitant early on, taking a step back to recover after a series of failed lockup attempts. Ultimately, Kane took Cesaro over the top rope with a clothesline and created momentum.

After bringing Cesaro back into the ring with a suplex over the ropes, Kane surprisingly hit a dropkick for the first near fall of the match.

This was the story of the match early on, as Cesaro consistently attempted to get out of harms way. Between Kane's power and the echoing thud of flesh meeting the steel ring post, things weren't going as planned for the U.S. champion.

As we've come to expect, however, Cesaro's beautiful European Uppercuts brought him back into this one.

Cesaro attempted to target Kane's shoulder, but the Big Red Machine powered through. The match went back-and-forth from thereon out, but Kane never seemed to be in too much trouble.

That is, until AJ Lee arrived.

Never once accused of being sane, AJ drew Daniel Bryan off of the announce table with resounding screams of "No!" Unfortunately for Cesaro, that wasn't enough to distract Kane.

With a powerful Chokeslam, Kane picked up a huge win over the United State Champion. The "Yes!" chant soon followed.

Brodus Clay and Tensai emerged, but it wasn't the two mammoth wrestlers that took to the ring. Instead, it was their valets, Naomi and Cameron.

Or as the kids call them, the Funkadactyls.

Naomi and Cameron took on Brie and Nikki Bella in a tag team match. Within a matter of moments, there was a head scissors takedown and a one-count.

Strangely, it wasn't the team who performed the move who got the cover.

Brie and Nikki took to their opponents with dirty tactics, using chokes and rope holds to impose their will. This allowed the Bellas to get a near fall by way of a facebuster.

After Cameron broke free, she found a way to make a hot tag to Naomi! Just as her male valets would, she took to the opposition with few strikes, including a group of dropkicks and a front flip clothesline.

Just as Cameron took control, however, Cody Rhodes hit the ring apron. Within moments, the Funkadactyls slapped him away.

Unfortunately for them, that opened the door for Nikki Bella to take advantage with a roll-up for the three-count.

Twitter Reaction

One of the most memorable moments of this week's WWE Main Event—perhaps for all the wrong reasons—was Antonio Cesaro's decision to open the show by yodeling. As one might imagine, that was hardly the most popular portion of the evening.

Even if Michael Cole loved it.

The masses are wondering when this will be available on iTunes.

Cesaro may have made noise early in the show, but it was Kane who emerged victorious. This comes in spite of the fact that AJ Lee attempted to get involved.

Kane wasn't distracted, even as Daniel Bryan screamed, "No!"

The Big Red Machine reigns supreme.

In our final match of the evening, we saw the Bella Twins outlast the Funkadactyls. Fortunately for Naomi and Cameron, however, they were able to get some revenge on the opposition.

A well-timed slap to Cody Rhodes nearly took his mustache—excuse me, lovestache—right off.

Maybe next time she can use a razor and get the job done right.

That's all for this week's edition of WWE Main Event. If you liked the show, or hated it, please hit the comments section and let us know!
