WrestleMania 29 is approaching fast, and hype around the WWE’s biggest angles and the most intriguing matches has every fan ready to make their final predictions.

The WWE has done a great job building its main events, and the secondary storylines have come along perfectly over the last two weeks. Overall, WrestleMania 29 is looking like it could become one of the better overall shows in a long time.

All of the following matches will help make this an amazing show, with each adding a special moment to an already immensely important event. These matches are what makes WrestleMania great.

WWE Champion The Rock vs. John Cena

While the majority of the WWE Universe believes that John Cena will beat The Rock for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, the general distaste for Cena has many fans discounting what he would accomplish with a victory.

A win over The Rock would not only add one of the greatest wrestlers in history to the list of men Cena has beaten over his career, it would be a record 11th time the WWE Championship belt was around his waist.

Love Cena or not, the WWE Universe will be front row for history at WrestleMania 29.

The speculation over whether or not The Rock will work Extreme Rules (h/t WrestleZone) has added even more intrigue to the way this match could end, but the fact that the WWE Universe will have a full-time champion once again should be something wrestling fans appreciate.

Predicted Winner: John Cena pins The Rock clean.

World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

The hype around the World Heavyweight Championship match between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger isn’t as high as the WWE expected, and it’s clear that it’s time to throw a major wrench in the works for this entire storyline.

It’s time for Dolph Ziggler to steal the show at WrestleMania and cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Ziggler holds the ultimate secret weapon for the WWE with the briefcase, and if the company is not sold on this angle working in the long run, allowing Ziggler to cash in and become the world champion is the reset button it should be looking to press.

A loss for Ziggler in his tag team match against Team Hell No would throw most fans off the scent of the cash in, but if he were to win the title at WrestleMania, the crowd in New York would explode.

Predicted Winner: Jack Swagger beats Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler cashes in and becomes World Heavyweight Champion.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

The WWE Universe has been polarized by the Fandango character and his involvement with a bona fide legend like Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29.

While some fans might hate the idea of Jericho squaring off against a new wrestler in his first televised match—some could go as far as to call it a waste of Jericho’s talents—this is a great move by the WWE and the future of its product.

When Jericho fights Fandango at WrestleMania, the company will be using its part-time star to build a wrestler that will be there every week. Jericho will then go tour the world with his band Fozzy, and Fandango will be on Raw and SmackDown every week using the match with Y2J as the starting point of his career.

Jericho is determined to steal the show at every event he participates in, and with the duty of getting over a talented prospect like Fandango with the crowd as a heel, expect Y2J to put on an amazing show and force the WWE Universe to love Fandango.

Predicted Winner: Fandango submits Jericho.
