NFL: 'Pacman' Jones Trade Talks Falter

XXX XXXSenior Writer IApril 2, 2008

There are reports which suggest the trade talks that would take suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones to the Dallas Cowboys have indeed stalled, this is due in part to the value his current team place on him.

The Titans are said to be requesting a 4th-round pick, a price that Jerry Jones, the Dallas GM/owner, thinks is too steep. The cowboys are the only team in the market for Jones, and the Titans have made clear that one way or another he will not be part of their team for the 2008 season.

Jones last week in an interview on a Dallas radio station Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin said he wanted to resume his career as a Cowboy.

In two weeks time, the subject of Jones’ status for the 2008 season after sitting out 2007 through suspension will come up on the agenda of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
