He led the Fighting Irish in receptions with 50 in 2012. He was the Mackey Award recipient for being best tight end in the nation.
At 6'6", 251 pounds, Tyler Eifert is considered by many to be the best tight end in the class of 2013.
Like Kyle Rudolph did a year ago, Eifert will enter the draft after his junior year. This big, physical tight end has excellent hands and knows how to get extra yardage after the catch.
Eifert leaves Notre Dame with just about every school receiving record for a tight end. The big question: Can he bring this kind of dominance to the NFL?
We caught up with the Fort Wayne, IN native at IMG in Bradenton, FL.
Check out our video above as Eifert, in his own words, describes what he brings to an NFL franchise.
Where will Eifert go in the 2013 NFL draft?
