Another Controversial Call Adds to Plot of Another Iowa State Loss

A block/charge call in a pivotal game once again went the wrong way for Iowa State. In Sunday’s third-round NCAA Tournament game against Ohio State, the Cyclones led 75-74 when Will Clyburn was called for charging with 1:41 remaining as he made a layup over Ohio State’s Aaron Craft. The play was an instant controversy. Instead of a basket and foul, it was an Iowa State turnover.
