Watch Sergio Garcia's One-Handed Shot Out of Tree at Arnold Palmer Invitational

If monkeys played golf—and I like to think that they do—this is how I imagine they would play: out of trees.

Sergio Garcia is no monkey, but he did his best impression on Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational after he hit a wayward drive on the 10th hole that saw the ball land directly in the middle of a tree.

Luckily for the veteran golfer, his tree shot was far better than his tee shot.

I'm not even sure which part of this remarkable sequence was the most impressive.

Was it when Garcia showcased some extraordinary strength and lifted himself up into the tree and then swiftly moved through it while looking for his ball?

Was it the actual shot? A one-handed, back-handed chip shot out of the bark that lifted up over another limb and landed safely right in the middle of the fairway—a shot that I couldn't make off a tee safely on the ground, let alone up in a tree while worrying about plummeting to an injury.

Or was it the fact that he managed to make the huge jump out of the tree and didn't hurt himself?

You can color me dazzled equally by every part, and Garcia gets all kinds of golf claps in my book.

Garcia, who ended up withdrawing from the tournament a few holes later, went on to double-bogey the hole.

But if that wasn't the most entertaining, fascinating, impressive double bogey of all time, I just don't know what to think anymore.
