4-Star Prospect Nick Chubb Becomes Latest Out-of-State RB to Get Texas Offer

Already holding offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Stanford and South Carolina, among others Cedartown (Ga.) running back Nick Chubb, a four-star prospect, according to rivals.com, picked up an offer from Texas, according to 247sports.com’s Jeff Howe. Chubb, who was offered by Florida last Saturday and by Stanford this Monday, rushed for 1,579 yards and 24 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2011 and for 2,697 yards and 38 touchdowns as a junior last season, when he averaged 8.4 yards per carry.
