Syracuse 81, Montana 34

From the opening tip off of the game between No. 4 Syracuse and No. 13 Montana, there was no doubt who the victor would be.

The Syracuse Orange broke out to an early start and with a deadly combination of stellar shooting and lock down defense, Jim Boeheim's team had their spot in the round of 32 booked by halftime.

Brandon Triche led all scorers with 20 points while C.J. Fair contributed 13 points in the winning effort.

The Orange will now play No. 12 California in the round of 32 on Saturday in San Jose.
