I like playing Devil's advocate.
There are myriad reasons why, but I tend to eschew the sort of reactionary anti-Wengerism that accompanies every poor result that Arsenal have. The manager also has a contract that runs until 2014 (which he does not intend to terminate) and a board that fully backs him.
Nevertheless, there are some very valid reasons to question whether Wenger is the right man to lead Arsenal into the future. His 17 years at the helm have been filled with many memorable moments, but it's always time to say goodbye sooner or later.
Let's examine, rationally, five legitimate reasons why Wenger should be let go after this season.
