NCAA March Madness: West Region Predictions, Trends, Computer Picks

Mississippi was an upset winner of the SEC tournament and one college basketball scores prediction computer is picking them to upset Wisconsin in the first round of the West Region.

The OddsShark.com computer has a 77-76 final predicted in this 5-vs-12 showdown. And that’s not the only significant upset based on the West Region odds and trends.

No. 6 Arizona is in big trouble against No. 11 Belmont, as the computer has an 83-79 final prediction.

No. 1 Gonzaga will win its 15th straight game overall, but they won’t cover the spread against the Southern Jaguars. The predicted final score would continue the Bulldogs’ trend towards OVERs as they are on an 8-2 run 10 recent tournament games.

New Mexico earned the third seed with its Mountain West title but the Lobos are just 1-5 ATS in six recent tournament games.
