Report: D-Backs Trade INF McDonald to Pirates

The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded infielder John McDonald to the Pirates, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com. There's no immediate word on the return, but it's likely pretty minimal.
McDonald, 38, brings very little to the table with the bat. He hit .249/.295/.386 with six homers and 22 RBI in 213 plate appearances last season for Arizona.
