Following the announcement of this induction Matt Striker conducted a special interview with Booker via the WWE App. The interview can be seen here.
During the interview Booker says that Harlem Heat will be reuniting at the WWE Hall of Fame.
Booker T was one half of the Harlem Heat tag team along with his partner Stevie Ray. Harlem Heat were arguably the greatest tag team ever in WCW. The duo of Booker and Stevie won the WCW Tag Team Championships a unbelievable ten times. They were also named Tag Team of the Year in 1995 and 1996.
The potential reuniting of Harlem Heat adds to what is setting up to be an amazing WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. This years induction class hasn't received nearly the attention as previous years. However, this years class might be the most stacked class ever and Booker only adds to that.
With Booker going on record as saying Stevie is going to be there, it might be a sign that Stevie is going to induct him. I am sure there are a few choices out there worthy enough to induct Booker, but I cant imagine any of them would mean more than Stevie.
Booker being inducted last night was terrific and surprising news. The potential announcement of Harlem Heat reuniting just makes the whole thing that much better.
